Reviews from Bequesta clients — May to June 2025.
"I had been meaning to sort out my files for three years. The inventory session did in two and a half hours what I had been putting off for years. The written summary they gave me at the end was exactly what my daughter in Edinburgh needed to know exists and where to find it."
"We did the workshop with our three children present. The facilitator kept the conversation calm and on topic, which I had worried about. By the end, my children knew exactly what I wanted for my property and my care — written down, not just remembered. We all felt better for having done it."
"My situation is complicated — property here, accounts in the Netherlands, children in two countries. Bequesta did not try to solve all of that. They helped me map what I had, write down my intentions clearly, and note precisely where a notary on each side would be needed. That roadmap was worth more than I expected."
"After my father passed away two years ago, we spent months trying to locate his insurance policies and accounts. I did not want the same thing to happen to my family. The inventory session gave me a complete list and storage map. I found three policies I had completely forgotten about during the session itself."
"I appreciated that Pimchanok was clear about what she could and could not do from the very first call. There was no upselling and no vagueness about scope. The session was professional and honest, and the output was genuinely useful. I will do an update session in twelve months."
"We went through the Continuity Programme together over six weeks. Having both of us in the room for the intentions workshop meant we arrived at decisions that had been sitting in the background for years. The facilitator handled a couple of difficult moments with real care. We would recommend this to any couple who has been putting these conversations off."
Three Situations, One Approach
How Bequesta's services adapted to different clients and what each engagement produced.
A Retired Expatriate with Cross-Border Holdings
A 68-year-old British national had lived in Bangkok for twenty years. His financial accounts, property, and pension arrangements spanned three countries. His adult children in the UK had no idea what existed or where to start.
We completed a full document inventory over two sessions, produced a country-by-country asset map, noted which jurisdictions would need local professional engagement, and compiled a master reference binder the client kept at home and shared digitally with his daughter.
The client identified two lapsed insurance policies during the session and renewed one. His family in London received a clear reference document they described as "the thing we didn't know we needed." Programme: Complete Records Continuity. Duration: five weeks.
A Bangkok Family Preparing for a Parent's Retirement
Two adult children brought their mother to the workshop after a health scare prompted the family to discuss what they did not know about her affairs. The mother had strong preferences about her care and property but had never written anything down.
We ran the Wishes & Intentions Workshop with all three family members. The facilitator guided each topic area at the mother's pace, giving everyone space to ask questions. By the end of the half-day session, the mother had a plain-language written record of her preferences across six key areas.
The family left with a document that answered the questions they had never managed to discuss at home. The mother noted one area requiring a solicitor for a formal instrument; we provided guidance on the type of professional to approach. Workshop duration: four hours.
A Self-Employed Professional with Digital-Heavy Records
A 52-year-old Thai professional ran her own business and held most of her personal and financial records across multiple cloud services, email accounts, and an external drive at home — with no consistent naming convention and no one else knowing where anything was.
We adapted the inventory process to her digital-first situation, producing a service-by-service access guide alongside a physical document list. We noted clearly which digital accounts would require specific processes to close or transfer.
She described the session as "overdue by about five years." The access guide was shared securely with a trusted sister. She returned three months later for a one-session update after changing banks. Service: Document Inventory Session.
